Crap! ...I mean, Croup!

Well what would a day at the Little household be without Lorelai coming down with something new??? Someone please give me some insight here...I thought big, breastfed babies are suppose to be healthy!!! I'm really getting frustrated here and my sleep/sanity is suffering. How could she have even gotten croup? She's not in daycare, mother's day out, etc....church nursery maybe? who knows. This baby has been sick with SOMETHING literally over 2/3 of her life. I'm tired. and so is my poor little lo.

Bathtime!

This is just a super cute picture I took this past week...Lorelai loooooooooooves bathtime! She kicks her little legs and flaps her arms. It is so cute and funny. Shawn came in the other day and placed her yellow ducky right on her belly:

"What is this thing doing on my belly???" So cute!

Wow

Okay Jodi, I thought this was so shocking I stole it from you. I occasionally watch Oprah because she sometimes has interesting guests (I love Nate) and I just overlook her cooky comments and roll my eyes at the TV, but I've never heard her say these things out loud and I was shocked. She clearly misinterpreted her pastor in the first place, it's mind-boggling how the devil can twist a person's thoughts. Try to get past the cheesiness of the guy's voice...

Ewww.

Lorelai has gobbled cereal from a spoon like a champ the past couple of times I've fed it to her, soooo I thought I'd take it a step further and try out some Pears! She gobbled down the hole jar in addition to the usual amount of cereal, although I'm not sure she was too fond of the taste. I think they were a little too sour for her liking, she kept shivering....it reminded of of when I use to eat sour warheads and make a face and wiggle involuntarily. It was hilarious. I gave my sweet little angel a bath and started rocking her to sleep, and she started coughing. No big deal, she's had a cough for a couple of weeks now. So, I sat her up and started patting her back. My sweet little angel then proceeded to projectile vomit cereal and pears all over me. Maybe we'll go a little more slowly from here on out. bleh!!!

In Love

This quote sums up everything that I feel and know to be true right now, I'm so glad I found it:

To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. -Oscar Wilde

This is so simple, but truer words were never spoken.
